A submerged school of Business and Management at the times of the Kerala Floods of 2018.
2018; These were the worst flood to have hit the state in over a century and killed over 483 people. It was estimated that around 522 schools sustained heavy damages in the flood and 271 class/office rooms and over 16 km of school compound walls were fully destroyed*.
More than half of the building is under the flood water which shows the gravity of the disaster. It is a general presumption that top floors are safe in times of flood, but people miss how it is highly dependent on where you are. Kerala is a valley, so even when you are taking refugee at the terrace of the building, it might get flooded.
