Bhuj, which is situated around 20 km from the epicenter, suffered considerable damage where hundreds of villages were flattened, over million structures damaged or destroyed and many historic buildings and tourist attractions bearing the burden of damage*.

The people belonging to the tribe suffered huge losses after the Gujarat earthquake. The plain white attire with the pag (cloth headgear) tied arduously is the most striking feature here. It's amusing as they do not look any different from how they would have looked like on a normal morning at the tea stall engaging in a day to day conversation.
